The GK5-KIT-G6 allows for immaculate customization of six-string electric guitars with BOSSs advanced GK-5 Divided Pickup system. Featuring expanded fingertip controls, players can take advantage of the innovative Serial GK digital interface while operating a BOSS guitar/bass synthesizer or V-Guitar product alongside their instruments regular pickup signal.

Dedicated Kit for Ultimate Serial GK Integration

The GK5-KIT-G6 Divided Pickup Kit has been designed exclusively for six-string electric guitars. It contains the necessary parts for complete professional installation of BOSSs GK-5 Divided Pickup with expanded controls. For ease of use, controls can be appropriately positioned at the players discretion during the customization process. Parts include the GK-5 unit itself, a circuit board, the Serial GK connector board/plate, a level pot, and switches, plus an LED, wires, springs, and screws.

Expanded Fingertip Control

Once installed, the GK5-KIT-G6 system works in complete harmony with the instruments standard pickup harness. Both outputs can be selected independently or blended using the three-way toggle switch. A three-way momentary switch activates two controls (S1 and S2) that can be assigned to various functions depending on the GK-compatible device attached. Similarly, the GK knob adjusts the volume level or a variety of assignable parameters. A handy LED lets you know when the GK5-KIT-G6 is receiving power.

Installing this product requires modifications to your guitar/bass. Ask a dealer or repair shop that specializes in modifying and installing guitar/bass parts to do this work.
