ENGL Ironball E606 20w Guitar Amp Head

This is awesome, I really enjoy it. ENGL stuff is super underrated in my books. This is a 20w all valve head, driven by a pair off EL84s. You get two channels, clean and lead, each with a switchable gain boost to make the clean crunchy and the lead extremely filthy. The clean is remarkably good: chiming, punchy, shimmery up the top, breathy through the middle… very convincing. The dirty channel covers Marshall-style growl all the way to proper Triple-Rec saturated wildness. It stays tight, responsive and clear the whole way through too, it’s very impressive. You can switch the output wattage down to five or one watt, and you can turn off the speaker output and use it straight into a recording rig or PA etc too. Those Germans, I’ll tell ya what.
