Epiphone ES-339 Cherry 2018

Epiphone ES-339, cherry red, made in China 2018. The 339 is the fun-size take on the classic ES-335, being a whisker over an inch smaller across the widest section of the body. It’s a comfy and cute little player, being such a couch-friendly size is a nice bonus. The cherry finish is a classic look, it hits the curves nicely. The tone on offer is earthy and full, with a percussive snap on the top end and an understated low end. This one comes with the deluxe Epi case, which would usually set you back a disproportionate amount of cash.

Cosmetic condition notes:minor finish wear. The headstock has a couple of minor marks on the end and back. The neck has some minor rub wear on the back, it’s clean and smooth in the hands. The back has some light surface scratches in the elbow area and some widespread light scuffs, no major marks. The sides have minor scuffs on the top horn and elbow area. The front has some minor surface scratches behind the bridge and some light play wear on the guard and horns, no major marks. Overall:very good condition (8/10).

Playing conditionnotes: neck is straight, intonation is good, action is low, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. The frets haveminor wear, 8/10 for life left. No headstock breaks. Setup with fresh10/52 Moonshiners strings.
