These are Fender’s recent take on the low wattage tube combo genre. It’s a similar size to a Hot Rod Deluxe, although a hair lighter and not as tall. The Fender clean tone is on tap: shimmering clear highs, fast bass, great reverb. The dirty channel is nice too, with a creamy smooth growl more like a Peavey Classic 30. This amp was part of a limited run made in the lacquered tweed finish, as a classy departure from the normal black option.
